患難困苦加於作惡之人、始自猶太、推及希臘。

There will be trouble and suffering for everyone who does evil. That is meant first for the Jews. It is also meant for the Gentiles.

There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,

There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil— for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.

There will be affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;

There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, for the Jew first and also for the Greek,

tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;

tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek;

affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

There will be affliction and distress on everyone who does evil, on the Jew first and also the Greek,

oppression, and anguish on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmedand, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written:“ Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of your name.”

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly:“ We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.For this is what the Lord has commanded us:“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child— both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die.

When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.But when they opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them,“ Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you

Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called“ uncircumcised” by those who call themselves“ the circumcision”( which is done in the body by human hands)—remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.

Is this blessedness only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness.Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before!And he received circumcision as a sign, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile— the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

“ You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your sins.”

“ Fellow children of Abraham and you God- fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

“ Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!”

“ We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentilesknow that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.“ Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me,

When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying,“ So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”

First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

For my eyes have seen your salvation,which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”

I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders. When they had assembled, Paul said to them:“ My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.

“ The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent.“ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”

Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
