Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;

There will be trouble and suffering for everyone who does evil. That is meant first for the Jews. It is also meant for the Gentiles.

There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,

There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil— for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.

There will be affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;

There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, for the Jew first and also for the Greek,

tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;

tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek;

affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;

There will be affliction and distress on everyone who does evil, on the Jew first and also the Greek,

oppression, and anguish on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For the time[ is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if[ it] first[ begin] at us, what shall the end[ be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises[ made] unto the fathers:And that the Gentiles might glorify God for[ his] mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.For so hath the Lord commanded us,[ saying], I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews[ that] Jesus[ was] Christ.And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook[ his] raiment, and said unto them, Your blood[ be] upon your own heads; I[ am] clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

Seeing[ it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

Wherefore remember, that ye[ being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition[ between us];Having abolished in his flesh the enmity,[ even] the law of commandments[ contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man,[ so] making peace;And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

[ Cometh] this blessedness then upon the circumcision[ only], or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which[ he had yet] being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which[ he had] being[ yet] uncircumcised.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

Men[ and] brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and[ that] they will hear it.

We[ who are] Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and[ then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond[ nor] free: but Christ[ is] all, and in all.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men[ and] brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not[ himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many[ stripes].But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few[ stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

[ Is he] the God of the Jews only?[ is he] not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:Seeing[ it is] one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
