You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?

你指着律法夸口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神吗？

你这以律法夸口的，自己倒违犯律法，羞辱上帝！

你这以律法夸口的，自己倒违犯律法，羞辱神！

你以律法自夸，自己却违犯律法羞辱上帝吗？

你既然以律法夸口，自己却因犯律法而羞辱神吗？

你这以律法夸耀的，难道自己还违犯律法侮辱神吗？

你指着律法誇口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神嗎？

你這以律法誇口的，自己倒違犯律法，羞辱上帝！

你這以律法誇口的，自己倒違犯律法，羞辱神！

你以律法自誇，自己卻違犯律法羞辱上帝嗎？

你既然以律法誇口，自己卻因犯律法而羞辱神嗎？

你這指着律法而誇口的，你因違犯律法而侮辱上帝麼？

你這以律法誇耀的，難道自己還違犯律法侮辱神嗎？

爾以律自誇、而干律以辱上帝乎、

爾誇律法、而自犯法、辱上帝乎、

爾以律法為誇、而自犯律法辱天主乎、

而以法為誇者、豈可明知故犯、以辱天主乎？

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

You brag about the law. But when you break it, you rob God of his honor!

You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law.

You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it.

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?

You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?

thou who gloriest in the law, through thy transgression of the law dishonorest thou God?

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

You who boast in the law dishonor God by transgressing the law!

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

“ Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;

Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the revelations of God.

“‘ How do you say,“ We are wise, and Yahweh’s law is with us?” But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsely.The wise men are disappointed. They are dismayed and trapped. Behold, they have rejected Yahweh’s word. What kind of wisdom is in them?

The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this:‘ God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men, extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

They insulted him and said,“ You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”

He said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”He said to him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder.’‘ You shall not commit adultery.’‘ You shall not steal.’‘ You shall not offer false testimony.’‘ Honor your father and your mother.’ And,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”The young man said to him,“ All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”

But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? How do you read it?”He answered,“ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”He said to him,“ You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus,“ Who is my neighbor?”

But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
