Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

你称为犹太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神夸口；

但是你，你既自称为犹太人，倚靠律法，以上帝夸口，

但是你，你既自称为犹太人，倚靠律法，以神夸口，

你自称是犹太人，倚仗上帝所赐的律法，自夸与上帝有特别的关系；

你身为犹太人，倚靠律法，仗着神夸口，

你既然称为犹太人，依靠律法，以神夸耀；

你稱為猶太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神誇口；

但是你，你既自稱為猶太人，倚靠律法，以上帝誇口，

但是你，你既自稱為猶太人，倚靠律法，以神誇口，

你自稱是猶太人，倚仗上帝所賜的律法，自誇與上帝有特別的關係；

你身為猶太人，倚靠律法，仗著神誇口，

但是你呢、你既名為猶太人，既依靠着律法，並拿上帝來誇口；

你既然稱為猶太人，依靠律法，以神誇耀；

爾名為猶太人、以律自恃、以上帝自詡、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以識上帝為榮、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以天主為榮、為榮或作自誇

倘爾擁有猶太人之名、以法為恃、以天主為誇、

Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;

Suppose you call yourself a Jew. You trust in the law. You brag that you know God.

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast in God

You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with him.

Now if you call yourself a Jew, and rely on the law, and boast in God,

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely upon the Law and boast in God,

Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God,

But if thou bearest the name of a Jew, and restest upon the law, and gloriest in God,

Now if you call yourself a Jew, and rest in the law, boast in God,

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast of your relationship to God

Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say,“ Isn’t Yahweh among us? No disaster will come on us.”

You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?

“ Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah. You swear by Yahweh’s name, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness—for they call themselves citizens of the holy city, and rely on the God of Israel; Yahweh of Armies is his name.

“ Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

Don’t think to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel that are of Israel.Neither, because they are Abraham’s offspring, are they all children. But,“ your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac.”

All the offspring of Israel will be justified in Yahweh, and will rejoice!

Behold, I give some of the synagogue of Satan, of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but lie— behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

They insulted him and said,“ You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”

Why? Because they didn’t seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.

Don’t trust in lying words, saying,‘ Yahweh’s temple, Yahweh’s temple, Yahweh’s temple, are these.’For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt;then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more.Behold, you trust in lying words that can’t profit.Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known,then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say,‘ We are delivered;’ that you may do all these abominations?

“ I know your works, oppression, and your poverty( but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

They answered him,“ We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say,‘ You will be made free’?”

He said to him,“ You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”

In that day you will not be disappointed for all your doings, in which you have transgressed against me; for then I will take away out from among you your proudly exulting ones, and you will no more be arrogant in my holy mountain.

I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

Didn’t Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?”

You do the works of your father.” They said to him,“ We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”

“ And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write:“ He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things:“ I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the offspring of Abraham? So am I.

“ We, being Jews by nature, and not Gentile sinners,

Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called“ uncircumcision” by that which is called“ circumcision”( in the flesh, made by hands),

For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel for his own possession.
