你称为犹太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神夸口；

但是你，你既自称为犹太人，倚靠律法，以上帝夸口，

你自称是犹太人，倚仗上帝所赐的律法，自夸与上帝有特别的关系；

你身为犹太人，倚靠律法，仗着神夸口，

你既然称为犹太人，依靠律法，以神夸耀；

你稱為猶太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神誇口；

但是你，你既自稱為猶太人，倚靠律法，以上帝誇口，

但是你，你既自稱為猶太人，倚靠律法，以神誇口，

你自稱是猶太人，倚仗上帝所賜的律法，自誇與上帝有特別的關係；

你身為猶太人，倚靠律法，仗著神誇口，

但是你呢、你既名為猶太人，既依靠着律法，並拿上帝來誇口；

爾名為猶太人、以律自恃、以上帝自詡、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以識上帝為榮、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以天主為榮、為榮或作自誇

倘爾擁有猶太人之名、以法為恃、以天主為誇、

Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;

Suppose you call yourself a Jew. You trust in the law. You brag that you know God.

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast in God

You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with him.

Now if you call yourself a Jew, and rely on the law, and boast in God,

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely upon the Law and boast in God,

Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God,

But if thou bearest the name of a Jew, and restest upon the law, and gloriest in God,

Now if you call yourself a Jew, and rest in the law, boast in God,

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast of your relationship to God

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they look for the Lord’s support and say,“ Is not the Lord among us? No disaster will come upon us.” (niv)

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? (niv)

“ Listen to this, you descendants of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel and come from the line of Judah, you who take oaths in the name of the Lord and invoke the God of Israel— but not in truth or righteousness—you who call yourselves citizens of the holy city and claim to rely on the God of Israel— the Lord Almighty is his name: (niv)

“ But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. (niv)

And do not think you can say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. (niv)

the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary,“ It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” (niv)

But all the descendants of Israel will find deliverance in the Lord and will make their boast in him. (niv)

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars— I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. (niv)

Then they hurled insults at him and said,“ You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses!We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.” (niv)

Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone. (niv)

For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more:circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee;as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless.But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. (niv)

Do not trust in deceptive words and say,“ This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord!”If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly,if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.“‘ Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known,and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say,“ We are safe”— safe to do all these detestable things? (niv)

I know your afflictions and your poverty— yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. (niv)

They answered him,“ We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” (niv)

“ You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied.“ Do this and you will live.” (niv)

On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to me, because I will remove from you your arrogant boasters. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill. (niv)

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (niv)

A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God. (niv)

Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?” (niv)

You are doing the works of your own father.”“ We are not illegitimate children,” they protested.“ The only Father we have is God himself.” (niv)

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. (niv)

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. (niv)

“ We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles (niv)

Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called“ uncircumcised” by those who call themselves“ the circumcision”( which is done in the body by human hands)— (niv)

For the Lord has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession. (niv)
