Wherefore thou art without excuse, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest dost practise the same things.

所以一切論斷人的人哪，你是無可推諉的。你在甚麼事上論斷別人，就在甚麼事上定你自己的罪；因為你這論斷人的人、正行着同樣的事。

哦，人哪，所以你是無法推諉的！一切評斷人的啊，你在什麼事上評斷別人，就在什麼事上定自己的罪；因為你這評斷人的，你自己也在做同樣的事。

是以凡爾擬人者、無可推諉、蓋爾擬人、適以罪己、因爾所擬者、躬自蹈之也、

是以爾責人、無可推諉、蓋爾責人、適以罪己、誠爾所責者、躬自蹈之也、

是以凡爾議人者、無可推諉、蓋爾何以議人、適以罪己、因爾所議者、己亦行之、

嗟爾蒼生、爾如責人、將無以免責；蓋爾之所責於人者、率皆躬自蹈之；是爾之責人、適足自納於罪耳。

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

If you judge someone else, you have no excuse for it. When you judge another person, you are judging yourself. You do the same things you blame others for doing.

Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.

You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.

Therefore, every one of you who judges is without excuse. For when you judge another, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things.

Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

Therefore, any one of you who judges is without excuse. For when you judge another, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

thou therefore that teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou rob temples?thou who gloriest in the law, through thy transgression of the law dishonorest thou God?

And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As Jehovah liveth, the man that hath done this is worthy to die:and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness;because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them.For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth,Seeing that thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee?When thou sawest a thief, thou consentedst with him, And hast been partaker with adulterers.Thou givest thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit.Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; Thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.

Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?

Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and garnish the tombs of the righteous,and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we should not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.Wherefore ye witness to yourselves, that ye are sons of them that slew the prophets.

For how knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O husband, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow;

If therefore the uncircumcision keep the ordinances of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision?and shall not the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who with the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law?
