曾為我命、以頸冒刃、不第我謝之、異邦之諸會亦然、並問安於其家中之會、

二位皆仰體基督耶穌與我同勞、曾冒萬死以救吾命、不惟吾個人感荷其恩、即異邦諸教會亦有同感。

They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

They have put their lives in danger for me. I am thankful for them. So are all the Gentile churches.

夫為義人死者、僅或有之、為善人死者、容或敢焉、

惟當各依主之頒賜、如上帝所召而行、我命諸會亦如是、
