吾謂基督之成為受割禮者之僕役、所以實踐天主所許於列祖之恩諾、而彰天主之至誠也。

For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed

I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews. He teaches us that God is true. He shows us that God will keep the promises he made to the founders of our nation.

For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs,

Remember that Christ came as a servant to the Jews to show that God is true to the promises he made to their ancestors.

For I say that Christ became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers,

Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers,

For I say that Christ hath been made a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given unto the fathers,

For I say that the Messiah became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers,

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises[ made] unto the fathers:

For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth to confirm the promises made to the fathers,

Now I say that Christ has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,

But He answered and said,“ I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him.

For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God ordained with your fathers, saying to Abraham,‘ And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.”

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters.

And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become one flock, with one shepherd.

Just as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient times—Salvation from our enemies, And from the hand of all who hate us;To show mercy to our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant,The oath which He swore to our father Abraham,

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said,“ It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you repudiate it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons and daughters, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the Law, the temple service, and the promises;whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

You will give truth to Jacob And favor to Abraham, Which You swore to our forefathers From the days of old.

The Lord has made His salvation known; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.He has remembered His graciousness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

He has given help to His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy,Just as He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his descendants forever.”Mary stayed with her about three months, and then returned to her home.

And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon objects of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,namely us, whom He also called, not only from among Jews, but also from among Gentiles,

Therefore glorify the Lord in the east, The name of the Lord, the God of Israel, In the coastlands of the sea.From the ends of the earth we hear songs:“ Glory to the Righteous One,” But I say,“ I am finished! I am finished! Woe to me! The treacherous deal treacherously, And the treacherous deal very treacherously.”

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,by abolishing in His flesh the hostility, which is the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two one new person, in this way establishing peace;and that He might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the hostility.And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near;for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone,in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord,in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—if indeed you have heard of the administration of God’s grace which was given to me for you;that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before briefly.By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,which in other generations was not made known to mankind, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience,

for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

See then the kindness and severity of God: to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; for otherwise you too will be cut off.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Now by“ conscience” I do not mean your own, but the other person’s; for why is my freedom judged by another’s conscience?

What do I mean then? That food sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying,“ I am with Paul,” or“ I am with Apollos,” or“ I am with Cephas,” or“ I am with Christ.”
