Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in[ your] prayers to God for me;

兄弟乎、我因我主耶穌基督、亦因聖神所賜之愛、勸爾同我竭力、為我祈禱天主、

尚懇兄弟因吾主耶穌基督且憑聖神之愛德、為我祈禱天主、

I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.

Brothers and sisters, I ask you to join me in my struggle. Join me by praying to God for me. I ask this through the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for me with the love the Holy Spirit provides.

I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf,

Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit.

Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift[ bestowed] upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

Epaphras, who is[ one] of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and[ for] them at Laodicea, and[ for] as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.And he said unto him, What[ is] thy name? And he said, Jacob.And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.And Jacob asked[ him], and said, Tell[ me], I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore[ is] it[ that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

If[ there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Teach me to do thy will; for thou[ art] my God: thy spirit[ is] good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and[ before] Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;That thou keep[ this] commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

I charge[ thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have[ free] course, and be glorified, even as[ it is] with you:

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
