That is why I have been prevented many times from coming to you.

This is the reason why I have so often been hindered from coming to you.

In fact, my visit to you has been delayed so long because I have been preaching in these places.

For this reason I have often been prevented from coming to you;

Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,

Now I don’t want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I often planned to come to you( but was prevented until now) in order that I might have a fruitful ministry among you, just as I have had among the rest of the Gentiles.

But as for us, brothers and sisters, after we were forced to leave you for a short time( in person, not in heart), we greatly desired and made every effort to return and see you face to face.So we wanted to come to you— even I, Paul, time and again— but Satan hindered us.
