Wherefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you:

我因多次被拦阻，总不得到你们那里去。

This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.

In fact, my visit to you has been delayed so long because I have been preaching in these places.

That is why I have been prevented many times from coming to you.

Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,

And I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you( and was hindered hitherto), that I might have some fruit in you also, even as in the rest of the Gentiles.

But we, brethren, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence not in heart, endeavored the more exceedingly to see your face with great desire:because we would fain have come unto you, I Paul once and again; and Satan hindered us.
