得在異邦人中充任基督耶穌之役、不得不勉盡司鐸之職、以弘宣基督之福音、務使異邦人受聖神之感化、而超凡入聖、俾我獻之於天主之前、而蒙其悅納。

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

to serve Christ Jesus among the Gentiles. I have the duty of a priest to preach God’s good news. Then the Gentiles will become an offering that pleases God. The Holy Spirit will make the offering holy.

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

I am a special messenger from Christ Jesus to you Gentiles. I bring you the Good News so that I might present you as an acceptable offering to God, made holy by the Holy Spirit.

若以爾信之祭祀奉事、我被灌奠其上、我亦樂之、且與爾眾同樂、

我言此、示爾異邦人者、因我為異邦之使徒、故榮我職耳、

耶穌基督之僕保羅、奉召為使徒、特簡以宣上帝福音、

勿忘為善、供人所需、如此之祭、乃上帝所悅者、

兄弟乎、緣此我以上帝之憐憫、勸爾獻身為生祭、聖而見悅於上帝、乃爾當然之崇事也、勿同世態、惟以心之更新而變化、致驗上帝旨、乃善而可悅、且純全者也、○

我在其中將施異蹟、遣彼免難之人、至於列邦、即至他施、普勒、張弓之路德、及土巴、雅完、與遼遠之島、未聞我名、未見我榮之處、彼將宣揚我榮於列邦、耶和華曰、異邦人將攜爾兄弟、乘馬及車、肩輿騾駝、來自諸國、詣我耶路撒冷聖山、以獻於我、若以色列族盛禮物於潔器、奉於我室、

主曰、往哉、彼乃我選之器、以播我名於異邦人、及諸王、並以色列民、

我為此立為宣告者、為使徒、為師傅、

非基督藉我所行之事、我不敢言、

且聖神亦如是助我儕之弱、蓋我不知宜如何祈禱、惟聖神以莫可言之太息、代我懇求、且鑒人心之上帝、識聖神之意、因依其旨代聖徒懇求也、

是以我為基督使、猶上帝託我勸爾、我代基督求爾與上帝復和、

依乎可頌之上帝、託我有榮之福音、○

然我不以己生為意、而貴之、惟欲盡我程途、及由主耶穌所授之職、以證上帝恩惠之福音、

豈不知上帝賜聖神於爾衷、而爾身乃聖神之殿乎、且爾非己有也、

爾既就之、亦如活石、築成靈室、為聖祭司、以獻靈祭、由耶穌基督而嘉納於上帝、

我有諸物、充溢矣、饒足矣、蓋由以巴弗提受爾來物、為馨香可納之祭、乃上帝所悅者、

亞波羅誰耶、保羅誰耶、無非執事、爾因之而信者、各隨主之所賜耳、

彼得啟示、非為己、乃為爾曹而役斯事、即今宣福音者、賴自天所遣之聖神、告爾此事也、天使亦欲詳察之、○

我為此見立為使徒、為宣告者、以信以誠、為列邦之師、我言真而不誑也、○

蓋我二者由彼以一神而謁父、

我於腓立比受苦受辱、乃爾所知、然賴我上帝、在窘迫中與爾侃侃言上帝之福音、

其事主禁食時、聖神曰、為我甄別巴拿巴、掃羅、行我召彼之事、

我將拯爾於斯民、及異邦中、即今遣爾就之者、俾啟其目、使之離暗就光、脫撒但之權、而歸上帝、致得罪赦、同獲因信成聖之業、

而希望不啟羞、緣上帝之愛、由賜我之聖神灌溉我心、

我知就爾時、必以基督之厚福而來、○

爾曹亦共受建、為上帝以聖神之居所焉、緣此、我保羅因爾異邦人、為基督耶穌之囚、

人當以我儕為基督之役、上帝奧秘之宰、

不第如我所望、且先獻己於主、又遵上帝旨、獻己於我儕、

主曰、往哉、我將遣爾、遠適異邦、○

反乎此、既見主託我宣福音於未受割者、亦猶託彼得於已受割者、蓋感彼得為使徒於受割者、亦感我為使徒於異邦、

兄弟乎、爾念我勞苦、晝夜操作、免累爾中一人、以宣上帝福音於爾、

夫施爾以聖神、且行異能於爾中者、由行律乎、抑由聞而信乎、

彼基督之役乎、我則逾之、此言若狂、蓋我多勤勞、多繫獄、數被箠楚、屢瀕於死、

今我薦爾於上帝、及其恩道、能建立爾、賜爾有業於凡成聖者之中、

願平康之上帝、使爾純聖、保全爾靈與心與身、於我主耶穌基督降臨之日、悉無可責、
