要因指望而喜樂；在苦難中要堅忍；禱告要恆心而專一；

因為上帝的國不在乎喫喝，乃在乎正義和平與喜樂都在聖靈之感動中。

上帝能使各樣的恩惠充盈滿溢地流到你們身上來，使你們凡事常有十分的充足，能夠溢流出各樣慈善的事來。

但願賜堅忍和鼓勵的上帝、賜給你們彼此間同樣的意念、依照基督耶穌的榜樣、

你們沒有見過他，卻愛他；現在雖不得看見，卻信靠他而歡樂，有說不出、滿有榮耀的喜樂，

我們切願你們各人都證顯出同樣的熱切以達到所確信的指望到末了，

至於靈之果子呢、就是愛、喜樂、和平、恆忍、慈惠、良善、忠信、

『你們心裏別震盪不安了，你們要信上帝，也要信我。

『因為你們必歡歡喜喜出來，平平安安蒙引導；大山小山必在你們面前爆發出歡呼聲；田野所有的樹木必都拍掌。

別醉酒了（醉中有放蕩），卻要充充滿滿地滿有聖靈。以「詩篇」、頌詞、詩歌、彼此對說，用心詠讚歌頌主；

堅忍能生出老練，老練能生出盼望；盼望是令人不失望的；因為上帝的愛、藉着所賜給我們、的聖靈、傾注於我們心裏。

我的話語和我宣傳的、又不是用委婉動聽的智慧話語，乃是用屬靈之實證、即能力之實證，

因為我們的福音傳到你們那裏、不僅僅在乎話語，乃在乎能力，在乎聖靈與堅定的確信；正如你們所知道的、我們為你們的緣故、在你們中間是成了甚麼樣的人。

願你們、由上帝我們的父和主耶穌基督、蒙恩平安。

『我將平安留下給你們；我的平安、我給你們；我給你們、不像世人那樣給。你們心裏別震盪不安了，別膽怯了。

永恆主從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷發出聲音，天地就震動。但永恆主卻要做他人民的避難所，做以色列人的保障。

奉我們的拯救者上帝和我們的盼望、基督耶穌、的詔命、做基督耶穌使徒的保羅、

以色列所希望的啊，他患難時的拯救者啊，你為甚麼像在這地寄居的？為甚麼像行路人只轉來住一宵呢？
