因为上帝的国不是关乎吃什么喝什么，而是关乎公义、平安和圣灵所赐的喜乐。

上帝能够将各样的恩典多多赐给你们，使你们在各方面常常富足有余，可以多行各样的善事。

但愿赐忍耐和鼓励的上帝给你们合一的心去效法基督耶稣的榜样，

你们虽然没有见过基督，却爱祂；虽然现在看不见祂，却信祂，并且有无法形容、充满荣耀的喜乐。

愿你们各人从始至终表现出同样的殷勤，以便对所盼望的有完全的把握。

但圣灵所结的果子是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、

耶稣继续说：“你们心里不要忧愁，你们要信上帝，也要信我。

你们必欢欢喜喜地出来，平平安安地蒙引导，大山小山都要在你们面前歌唱，田野的树木也都拍掌。

不要醉酒，醉酒会使人放荡，要被圣灵充满。要用诗篇、圣乐、灵歌互相激励，从心底唱出赞美主的旋律。

忍耐生品格，品格生盼望。这种盼望不会落空，因为上帝的爱借着所赐给我们的圣灵已倾注在我们心中。

我说话、讲道不是靠充满智慧的雄辩之词，而是靠圣灵的能力作明证，

因为我们传福音给你们不只是靠言语，也靠上帝的能力、圣灵的同在和充分的确据。你们也知道，我们为了你们的缘故怎样在你们中间行事为人。

愿我们的父上帝和主耶稣基督赐给你们恩典和平安！

我把平安留给你们，把我的平安赐给你们，我赐给你们的平安不像世人给的平安。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要害怕。

耶和华从锡安发出怒吼，从耶路撒冷发出雷声，天地为之震动。但耶和华却是祂子民的避难所，是以色列人的堡垒。
