Again Isaiah says,“ There shall come the root of Jesse, And He who arises to rule over the Gentiles, In Him will the Gentiles hope.”

以赛亚先知也说：“将来耶西的根要兴起，祂要统治外族，外族人都要仰望祂。”

以赛亚也说：“将来必有耶西的根，就是那兴起来治理列邦的；列邦都寄望于他。”

又有以赛亚说：“将有耶西的根，就是兴起来统治外邦人的那一位；外邦人要仰望他。”

又有以賽亞說：將來有耶西的根，就是那興起來要治理外邦的；外邦人要仰望他。

又有以賽亞說：「將來有耶西的根，就是那興起來要治理列邦的；外邦人要仰望他。」

又有以賽亞說：「將來有耶西的根，就是那興起來要治理列邦的；外邦人要仰望他。」

以賽亞又云、有耶西之根株將興、而君異邦、異邦將望之、

以賽亞曰、耶西之根株將萌、君異邦者將興、異邦人賴之、

又以賽亞曰、耶西之根將萌、興而轄異邦人者將至、或作又以賽亞曰將有自耶西根而萌之枝即將興以轄異邦人者異邦人必仰望之、

而意灑雅書亦曰：『葉瑟之根苗、掘興治萬邦；萬邦所依恃生靈所仰望。』

And again, Isaiah says,“ The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; in him the Gentiles will hope.”

And Isaiah says,“ The Root of Jesse will grow up quickly. He will rule over the nations. The Gentiles will put their hope in him.”( Isaiah 11:10)

And again Isaiah says,“ The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope.”

And in another place Isaiah said,“ The heir to David’s throne will come, and he will rule over the Gentiles. They will place their hope on him.”

And again, Isaiah says, The root of Jesse will appear, the one who rises to rule the Gentiles; the Gentiles will hope in him.

And again, Isaiah says:“ There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”

And again, Isaiah saith, There shall be the root of Jesse, And he that ariseth to rule over the Gentiles; On him shall the Gentiles hope.

And again, Isaiah says: The root of Jesse will appear, the One who rises to rule the Gentiles; the Gentiles will hope in Him.

And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

And again Isaiah says,“ The root of Jesse will come, and the one who rises to rule over the Gentiles, in him will the Gentiles hope.”

Again, Isaiah says,“ There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”

Then on that day The nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal flag for the peoples; And His resting place will be glorious.

And in His name the Gentiles will hope.”

“ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you of these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch from his roots will bear fruit.

And one of the elders* said to me,“ Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to be able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

This is what the Lord says:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord.For he will be like a bush in the desert, And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt that is not inhabited.Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose trust is the Lord.

If we have hoped in Christ only in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.

The scepter will not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations will worship before You.For the kingdom is the Lord’s And He rules over the nations.

“ Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.He will not cry out nor raise His voice, Nor make His voice heard in the street.A bent reed He will not break off And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.He will not be disheartened or crushed Until He has established justice on the earth; And the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law.”

to the end that we who were the first to hope in the Christ would be to the praise of His glory.In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation— having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise,

For this reason I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to protect what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

And He will arise and shepherd His flock In the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they will remain, Because at that time He will be great To the ends of the earth.

May he also rule from sea to sea, And from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.May the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust.May the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring gifts; May the kings of Sheba and Seba offer tributes.

Lord, my strength and my stronghold, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood, Futility, and things of no benefit.”

And to Him was given dominion, Honor, and a kingdom, So that all the peoples, nations, and populations of all languages Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.

And it will come about in the last days That the mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, And the peoples will stream to it.Many nations will come and say,“ Come and let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord And to the house of the God of Jacob, So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For from Zion will go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.And He will judge between many peoples And render decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they will beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation will not lift a sword against nation, And never again will they train for war.

He says,“ It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the protected ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,“ But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”“ I will announce the decree of the Lord: He said to Me,‘ You are My Son, Today I have fathered You.Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession.You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’ ”Now then, you kings, use insight; Let yourselves be instructed, you judges of the earth.Serve the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.Kiss the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

May his name endure forever; May his name produce descendants as long as the sun shines; And may people wish blessings on themselves by him; May all nations call him blessed.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.
