For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

And the dead in Christ will rise first.Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.Therefore encourage one another with these words.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying,“ Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”“ Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit,“ that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

for he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was lacking in your service to me.

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

( This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him,“ Follow me.”

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future— all are yours,and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
