爾為誰、敢擬議他人之僕、其立與仆、自有其主在、但彼亦必立、因天主能使之立也、

爾何人斯、乃敢指摘他氏之僕耶！彼之能立與否、惟對其主負責；矧其主固能使之立、詎見其終不立耶？

Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died— more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?As it is written,“ For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder,“ Why have you made me like this?”

though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help, and the sword of your triumph! Your enemies shall come fawning to you, and you shall tread upon their backs.”

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages

My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.

For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope!Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually!

who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.
