Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build up one another.

Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond.Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart( for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.

Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”

What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church.

And he must turn away from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.

Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort provided by love, any fellowship in the Spirit, any affection or mercy,complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose.Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself.Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well.

Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show his works done in the gentleness that wisdom brings.But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth.Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic.For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.

just as I also try to please everyone in all things. I do not seek my own benefit, but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.

“ Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.

But keep away from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace, in company with others who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as you are in fact doing.Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who labor among you and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you,

Have you been thinking all this time that we have been defending ourselves to you? We are speaking in Christ before God, and everything we do, dear friends, is to build you up.

It is the same with you. Since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, seek to abound in order to strengthen the church.So then, one who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret.If I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive.What should I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing praises with my spirit, but I will also sing praises with my mind.Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift say“ Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?For you are certainly giving thanks well, but the other person is not strengthened.

nor to occupy themselves with myths and interminable genealogies. Such things promote useless speculations rather than God’s redemptive plan that operates by faith.

But if the unbeliever wants a divorce, let it take place. In these circumstances the brother or sister is not bound. God has called you in peace.
