Whoever serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and receives human approval.

在这几样上服侍基督的，就为神所喜悦，又为人所称许。

凡这样服侍基督的，就为上帝所喜悦，又为人所赞许。

以这样的态度事奉基督的人才会得到上帝的喜悦和大家的称赞。

在這幾樣上服事基督的，就為神所喜悅，又為人所稱許。

以這樣的態度事奉基督的人才會得到上帝的喜悅和大家的稱讚。

本着這種原則來服事基督的、才是上帝所喜歡，又是人所試驗為可嘉的。

要知道，如此服事基督的人，是蒙神喜悅的，也是受人讚許的。

以此而事基督者、為上帝所悅、世人所稱、

行此而服基督者、為上帝所喜、世人所悅、

以此而事基督者、為天主所悅、為世人所善、

若能秉此精神以事基督、則既能取悅於主、亦能見容於人矣。

because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.

Those who serve Christ in this way are pleasing to God. They are pleasing to people too.

Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.

If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too.

For the one who serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and approved by other people.

For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.

Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by works in offering Isaac his son on the altar?You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was made complete,and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.In the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works in receiving the messengers and sending them out by a different route?For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided— a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
