因为全部的律法，都在“爱人如己”这一句话里面成全了。

如果你的手有行善的力量，就不可推辞，要向那些需要帮助的人行善。你那里如果有现成的，就不可对邻舍说：“你先回去，明天再来吧，到时，我必给你！”

你们若照着圣经所说“要爱人如己”这话，去完成这至尊的律法，你们就作对了。

我给你们一条新命令，就是要你们彼此相爱；我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样彼此相爱。

在这一切之上，还要有爱心，爱心是联系全德的。

这嘱咐的目的是出于爱；这爱是发自纯洁的心、无愧的良心和无伪的信心。

“困苦贫穷的雇工，无论是你的兄弟，或是寄居在你的地上你的城里的，你都不可欺压他。你要当日给他工钱，不可等到日落，因为他贫穷，把心放在工钱上，免得他对你不满而呼求耶和华，你就有罪了。
