So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

所以抗拒掌权的，就是反对神所设立的；反对的人必自招刑罚。

所以，抗拒掌权的，就是违抗神所设立的；违抗的人，就自招惩罚。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒神的命；抗拒的必自取刑罰。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒上帝所立的；抗拒的人必自招審判。

故此敵擋政權、就是反對上帝所規定；反對的必自招處刑。

所以，抗拒掌權的，就是違抗神所設立的；違抗的人，就自招懲罰。

故與秉權者抗、乃拒上帝命、拒者自取鞫也、

與居位者敵、是為逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、

故抗秉權者、乃逆天主命、逆者自取罪戾、

由是以觀、犯上作亂即違抗天主之命。為此而欲倖免、不可得矣。

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged.

Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Be subject to every human institution for the Lord’s sake, whether to a king as supreme

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, because you know that we will be judged more strictly.

Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath of the authorities but also because of your conscience.

They devour widows’ property, and as a show make long prayers. These men will receive a more severe punishment.”

But at that time they will affirm them with“ I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them.” At that time they will live in their own land.’”Here is what the LORD says concerning the false prophets: My heart and my mind are deeply disturbed. I tremble all over. I am like a drunk person, like a person who has had too much wine, because of the way the LORD and his holy word are being mistreated.For the land is full of people unfaithful to him. They live wicked lives and they misuse their power. So the land is dried up because it is under his curse. The pastures in the wilderness are withered.Moreover, the LORD says,“ Both the prophets and priests are godless. I have even found them doing evil in my temple!So the paths they follow will be dark and slippery. They will stumble and fall headlong. For I will bring disaster on them. A day of reckoning is coming for them.” The LORD affirms it!The LORD says,“ I saw the prophets of Samaria doing something that was disgusting. They prophesied in the name of the god Baal and led my people Israel astray.But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to me and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.So then I, the LORD who rules over all, have something to say concerning the prophets of Jerusalem:‘ I will make these prophets eat the bitter food of suffering and drink the poison water of judgment. For the prophets of Jerusalem are the reason that ungodliness has spread throughout the land.’”The LORD who rules over all says to the people of Jerusalem:“ Do not listen to what those prophets are saying to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They are reporting visions of their own imaginations, not something the LORD has given them to say.They continually say to those who reject what the LORD has said,‘ Things will go well for you!’ They say to all those who follow the stubborn inclinations of their own hearts,‘ Nothing bad will happen to you!’

They seek me day after day; they want to know my requirements, like a nation that does what is right and does not reject the law of their God. They ask me for just decrees; they want to be near God.

None of the Judean remnant who have come to live in the land of Egypt will escape or survive to return to the land of Judah. Though they long to return and live there, none of them shall return except a few fugitives.’”Then all the men who were aware that their wives were sacrificing to other gods, as well as all their wives, answered Jeremiah. There was a great crowd of them representing all the people who lived in northern and southern Egypt. They answered,“ We will not listen to what you claim the LORD has spoken to us!Instead we will do everything we vowed we would do. We will sacrifice and pour out drink offerings to the goddess called the Queen of Heaven just as we and our ancestors, our kings, and our leaders previously did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, were well-off, and had no troubles.

“ But woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You keep locking people out of the kingdom of heaven! For you neither enter nor permit those trying to enter to go in.
