Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

所以，抗拒掌权的，就是违抗神所设立的；违抗的人，就自招惩罚。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒神的命；抗拒的必自取刑罰。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒上帝所立的；抗拒的人必自招審判。

故此敵擋政權、就是反對上帝所規定；反對的必自招處刑。

所以，抗拒掌權的，就是違抗神所設立的；違抗的人，就自招懲罰。

故與秉權者抗、乃拒上帝命、拒者自取鞫也、

與居位者敵、是為逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、

故抗秉權者、乃逆天主命、逆者自取罪戾、

由是以觀、犯上作亂即違抗天主之命。為此而欲倖免、不可得矣。

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged.

Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority,

Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed,

Do not become teachers in large numbers, my brothers, since you know that we who are teachers will incur a stricter judgment.

Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for the sake of conscience.

who devour widows’ houses, and for appearance’s sake offer long prayers. These will receive all the more condemnation.”

but,‘ As the Lord lives, who brought up and led the descendants of the household of Israel back from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will live on their own soil.”As for the prophets: My heart is broken within me, All my bones tremble; I have become like a drunken man, And like a man overcome by wine, Because of the Lord And because of His holy words.For the land is full of adulterers; For the land mourns because of the curse. The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course is evil And their might is not right.“ For both prophet and priest are defiled; Even in My house I have found their wickedness,” declares the Lord.“ Therefore their way will be like slippery paths to them, They will be driven away into the gloom and fall down in it; For I will bring disaster upon them, The year of their punishment,” declares the Lord.“ Moreover, among the prophets of Samaria I saw an offensive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led My people Israel astray.Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: The committing of adultery and walking in deceit; And they strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one has turned back from his wickedness. All of them have become to Me like Sodom, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.Therefore this is what the Lord of armies says concerning the prophets:‘ Behold, I am going to feed them wormwood And make them drink poisonous water, For from the prophets of Jerusalem Ungodliness has spread into all the land.’ ”This is what the Lord of armies says:“ Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into futility; They tell a vision of their own imagination, Not from the mouth of the Lord.They keep saying to those who despise Me,‘ The Lord has said,“ You will have peace” ’; And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, They say,‘ Disaster will not come on you.’

Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.
