Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

所以抗拒掌权的，就是反对神所设立的；反对的人必自招刑罚。

所以，抗拒掌权的，就是违抗神所设立的；违抗的人，就自招惩罚。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒神的命；抗拒的必自取刑罰。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒上帝所立的；抗拒的人必自招審判。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒神所立的；抗拒的人必自招審判。

故此敵擋政權、就是反對上帝所規定；反對的必自招處刑。

所以，抗拒掌權的，就是違抗神所設立的；違抗的人，就自招懲罰。

故與秉權者抗、乃拒上帝命、拒者自取鞫也、

與居位者敵、是為逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、

故抗秉權者、乃逆天主命、逆者自取罪戾、

由是以觀、犯上作亂即違抗天主之命。為此而欲倖免、不可得矣。

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged.

Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Wherefore[ ye] must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force[ is] not right.For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery[ ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them,[ even] the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart,[ and] not out of the mouth of the LORD.They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,[ As for] the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for[ then] had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in[ yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
