Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

所以，抗拒掌权的，就是违抗神所设立的；违抗的人，就自招惩罚。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒神的命；抗拒的必自取刑罰。

所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒上帝所立的；抗拒的人必自招審判。

故此敵擋政權、就是反對上帝所規定；反對的必自招處刑。

故與秉權者抗、乃拒上帝命、拒者自取鞫也、

與居位者敵、是為逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、

故抗秉權者、乃逆天主命、逆者自取罪戾、

由是以觀、犯上作亂即違抗天主之命。為此而欲倖免、不可得矣。

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged.

So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.

So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.

So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme,

Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”

Their course is evil, and their might is not right.“ Both prophet and priest are ungodly; even in my house I have found their evil, declares the Lord.Therefore their way shall be to them like slippery paths in the darkness, into which they shall be driven and fall, for I will bring disaster upon them in the year of their punishment, declares the Lord.In the prophets of Samaria I saw an unsavory thing: they prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:“ Behold, I will feed them with bitter food and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.
