Do this, knowing the time, that it is already time for you to awaken out of sleep, for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first believed.

再者，你們已經看見了這個時代，是你們早應該從沉睡中醒過來的時候，因為比我們初信的時候，我們的救恩現在更近了。

緣此、知時已屆、今宜自寐而寤、蓋我儕得救、較初信時為尤近、

凡此皆所當行、因知屆期、今宜寤矣、較我初信之時、福更近之、

既知斯時即爾由睡宜醒之時、則當遵此以行、蓋我儕得救、今較初信之時愈近矣、

且吾人亦不可昧於時義、須知今茲已為醒於睡夢之時。何則、吾人蒙救之日、已較初信之時、日近一日矣。

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

When you do these things, keep in mind the times we are living in. The hour has already come for you to wake up from your sleep. The full effects of our salvation are closer now than when we first believed in Christ.

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

Besides this, since you know the time, it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep, because now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we first believed.

And that, knowing the time, that now[ it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now[ is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.

And do this because we know the time, that it is already the hour for us to awake from sleep, for our salvation is now nearer than when we became believers.

But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self- controlled, and sober in prayer.

You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Therefore he says,“ Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Wake up righteously, and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;lest coming suddenly he might find you sleeping.What I tell you, I tell all: Watch.”

But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,

But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

But when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.”

Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.

He who testifies these things says,“ Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.

Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

“ Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

But I say this, brothers: the time is short, that from now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;and those who weep, as though they didn’t weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn’t rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn’t possess;and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.

He came to the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter,“ What, couldn’t you watch with me for one hour?Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

So the ship master came to him, and said to him,“ What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God! Maybe your God will notice us, so that we won’t perish.”

The burden of Dumah. One calls to me out of Seir,“ Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?”The watchman said,“ The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire. Come back again.”

Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.But at midnight there was a cry,‘ Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

In the morning,‘ It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can’t discern the signs of the times!
