And that, knowing the time, that now[ it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now[ is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.

緣此、知時已屆、今宜自寐而寤、蓋我儕得救、較初信時為尤近、

凡此皆所當行、因知屆期、今宜寤矣、較我初信之時、福更近之、

既知斯時即爾由睡宜醒之時、則當遵此以行、蓋我儕得救、今較初信之時愈近矣、

且吾人亦不可昧於時義、須知今茲已為醒於睡夢之時。何則、吾人蒙救之日、已較初信之時、日近一日矣。

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

When you do these things, keep in mind the times we are living in. The hour has already come for you to wake up from your sleep. The full effects of our salvation are closer now than when we first believed in Christ.

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed[ is] willing, but the flesh[ is] weak.

So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

And in the morning,[ It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O[ ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not[ discern] the signs of the times?
