I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,[ which is] your reasonable service.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God— this is your true and proper worship.

Brothers and sisters, God has shown you his mercy. So I am asking you to offer up your bodies to him while you are still alive. Your bodies are a holy sacrifice that is pleasing to God. When you offer your bodies to God, you are worshiping him in the right way.

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice— the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Neither yield ye your members[ as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members[ as] instruments of righteousness unto God.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of[ our] lips giving thanks to his name.But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what[ is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Which in time past[ were] not a people, but[ are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.Dearly beloved, I beseech[ you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by[ your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward[ man] is renewed day by day.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost[ which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.[ This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened[ bread] of sincerity and truth.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech[ you] by us: we pray[ you] in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort[ you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,[ so] ye would abound more and more.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:And[ that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,( by grace ye are saved;)And hath raised[ us] up together, and made[ us] sit together in heavenly[ places] in Christ Jesus:That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in[ his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:[ it is] the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;And[ having] an high priest over the house of God;Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

We then,[ as] workers together[ with him], beseech[ you] also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices[ shall be] accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.[ This] also shall please the LORD better than an ox[ or] bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

If[ there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love,[ being] of one accord, of one mind.[ Let] nothing[ be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings[ are] not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and[ that] there be no divisions among you; but[ that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

For what glory[ is it], if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer[ for it], ye take it patiently, this[ is] acceptable with God.

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

According to my earnest expectation and[ my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but[ that] with all boldness, as always,[ so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether[ it be] by life, or by death.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things[ which were sent] from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in[ your] prayers to God for me;

For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence[ am] base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive[ us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven,[ the same] loveth little.

And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

For this[ is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
