正如经上所记：“神给了他们麻木的灵，有眼睛却看不见，有耳朵却听不到，直到今日。”

as it is written:“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”

It is written,“ God made it hard for them to understand. He gave them eyes that could not see. He gave them ears that could not hear. And they are still like that today.”( Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 29:10)

As the Scriptures say,“ God has put them into a deep sleep. To this day he has shut their eyes so they do not see, and closed their ears so they do not hear.”

但是直到今日，耶和华还没有给你们一颗能明白的心，能看见的眼睛，能听见的耳朵。

因为耶和华把沉睡的灵，倾倒在你们身上；他紧闭你们的眼，就是先知；蒙盖你们的头，就是先见。

但是他们的心思迟钝，因为直到今日，他们诵读旧约的时候，这帕子仍然存在，没有揭开，唯有在基督里才能把这帕子废掉。可是直到今日，他们每逢诵读摩西的书的时候，这帕子还盖在他们的心上。

因此，我用比喻对他们讲话，因为他们看却看不见，听也听不到，也不明白。以赛亚的预言，正应验在他们身上，他说：‘你们听是听见了，总是不明白；看是看见了，总是不领悟。

“人子啊！你是住在叛逆的民族之中；他们有眼睛可以看，却看不见；他们有耳朵可以听，却听不见，因为他们是叛逆的民族。

“愚昧无知的民哪！你们有眼不能看，有耳不能听；你们应当听这话：

这样，这些民族一方面敬畏耶和华；另一方面又继续服事他们的偶像。他们的子子孙孙继续照着他们的祖先所行的去行，直到今日。

他说：‘你去告诉这人民：你们听是听见了，总是不明白；看是看见了，总是不领悟。

耶稣对他们说：“神的国的奥秘，只给你们知道，但对于外人，一切都用比喻，叫他们‘看是看见了，却不领悟，听是听见了，却不明白，免得他们回转过来，得到赦免。’”

他说：“神的国的奥秘，只给你们知道，对别人就用比喻，叫他们看却看不见，听却听不明白。

他说：“你去告诉这子民，说：‘你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不晓得。’

直到今日，他们仍是按照他们初时的习俗去行；他们不敬畏耶和华，行事不按他们的规例和典章，也不按耶和华曾吩咐雅各的子孙的律法和诫命。耶和华曾给雅各起名为以色列。
