彼行大事不可測、行奇事不勝數、

耶和華歟、爾經營何其大、爾意綦深兮、

抑輕褻其宏大之慈惠寬容恆忍、不知上帝之慈惠導爾改悔乎、

俾其心受慰、以愛相聯、穎悟充實而致富有、克知上帝之奧秘、即基督也、凡智慧知識之寶藏、皆韞於彼、

致在天諸執政者、操權者、今由教會知上帝智備萬殊、

爾以考究、可測度上帝乎、爾能洞悉全能者乎、其智高於穹蒼、爾能何為、深於陰府、爾有何知、其度寬於地、闊於海、

若夫全能者、我儕莫能測之、其力卓越、其義充足、不行殘虐、

我儕於彼因其血而得贖、即罪之赦、依上帝洪恩也、

彼造諸物、皆適其時、無不美善、置悠久之念於人心、然其所為、自始至終、人莫能測、

且欲示其豐富之榮於矜恤之器、備以獲榮者、

爾之公義、如上帝之山、爾之判斷、如深廣之淵、耶和華歟、人與禽獸、爾咸護佑兮、

上帝樂以此奧秘之榮之富、示之異邦、即基督在爾衷、為有榮之望焉、

求依其榮之富有、俾由厥神、以其能而剛健乃衷、

爾路在海、爾徑在淵、蹤跡莫能知之兮、

耶和華我上帝歟、爾所作之妙工、及向我之意念甚多、不能悉陳、若欲稱述、不可勝數兮、

致緣彼所施我儕之慈惠、彰其厚恩於後世焉、

行大事不可測、行奇事不勝數、

我在聖徒中、乃微之又微者、尚蒙此恩、俾以基督莫測之富有宣諸異邦、

地上居民、悉若無有、彼於天上軍旅、地上億兆、隨意而行、無能阻其手、或詰之曰、爾何為者、

密雲黑暗環之、仁義公平、為其位之基兮、

天高地厚、王心莫測、

願人稱謝耶和華、因其有慈惠、及為世人行奇事兮、仰慕之心、使之饜足、飢餒之心、飫以嘉物兮、○居幽暗死蔭者、拘以困苦、縶以鐵索兮、因其違上帝之言、蔑至上者之旨兮、故以勞苦抑其心、彼乃顚躓、輔助無人兮、患難之時、呼籲耶和華、遂援之於困苦兮、導出幽暗死蔭、斷其縶維兮、願人稱謝耶和華、因其有慈惠、及為世人行奇事兮、毀其銅門、斷其鐵楗兮、○愚人因其愆尤罪戾、罹於禍患兮、其心厭諸食物、近於死門兮、患難之時、呼籲耶和華、遂援之於困苦兮、出言醫之、援之於死亡兮、願人稱謝耶和華、因其有慈惠、及為世人行奇事兮、獻稱謝以為祭、謳歌宣其作為兮、○乘舟航海、營業於巨浸者、得見耶和華之作為、及其奇事、在於深淵兮、發命令、起狂風、波浪翻騰兮、其人上至穹蒼、下至深淵、因其遭禍、厥心消融兮、搖曳不定、蹩躠有若醉人、計窮智盡兮、患難之時、呼籲耶和華、遂援之於困苦兮、息其狂風、平其波浪兮、人因寧靖而喜、引至欲往之泊所兮、願人稱謝耶和華、因其有慈惠、及為世人行奇事兮、在民眾會中尊祟之、在長老聚所頌美之兮、○彼變江河為曠野、源泉為燥土、沃壤為鹵地、皆因居民之罪兮、彼變曠野為水澤、旱地為源泉兮、使飢者處之、建可居之邑兮、耕種田畝、栽植葡萄、獲其所產兮、錫以福祉、俾其繁衍、不容牲畜鮮少兮、厥後復遭暴虐、患難憂苦、民乃減少、而卑抑兮、彼加凌辱於君王、使其流離於野、無路可循兮、惟脫貧人於患難、置之高處、俾有家屬成羣兮、正人見之欣喜、惡者口塞兮、智者注意斯事、思念耶和華之慈惠兮、

得與諸聖徒克識其長闊高深、

我儕蒙昧、不能陳詞、請爾教我、何以與言、

此其工作之末、我所聞之聲響、何其微小、至其力之雷霆、又孰能測之、
