兄弟乎、我不欲爾不知斯奧、恐爾自以為智、即以色列間有頑者、以待異邦人之盈數歸入焉、

兄弟乎、余甚欲爾克知斯奧、免爾自恃為智、即以色列中數頑人、迨眾異邦人之歸、而後悉得救、

兄弟乎、我甚欲爾知此奧義、免爾自視為智、即以色列人有剛愎者、惟待眾異邦人歸誠、

兄弟乎、吾深恐爾等之自以為智、故不欲爾等之昧於此中微妙也。蓋部分義塞人之所以成為冥頑不靈者、乃有待乎異邦人之圓滿歸化。

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,

Brothers and sisters, here is a mystery I want you to understand. It will keep you from being proud. Part of Israel has refused to obey God. That will continue until the full number of Gentiles has entered God’s kingdom.

I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ.

I don’t want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you will not be conceited: A partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be uninformed of this mystery— so that you will not be wise in your own estimation— that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;

So that you will not be conceited, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery: A partial hardening has come to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

For I don’t desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, so that you won’t be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.

But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts.But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.

What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened,as it is written,“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.”

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it,and many peoples shall come, and say:“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.For you have rejected your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of things from the east and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.Their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.Their land is filled with idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their own fingers have made.

And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem shall remain aloft on its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.And it shall be inhabited, for there shall never again be a decree of utter destruction. Jerusalem shall dwell in security.And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.And on that day a great panic from the Lord shall fall on them, so that each will seize the hand of another, and the hand of the one will be raised against the hand of the other.Even Judah will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance.And a plague like this plague shall fall on the horses, the mules, the camels, the donkeys, and whatever beasts may be in those camps.Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, there will be no rain on them.And if the family of Egypt does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which the Lord afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.And on that day there shall be inscribed on the bells of the horses,“ Holy to the Lord.” And the pots in the house of the Lord shall be as the bowls before the altar.And every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holy to the Lord of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them and boil the meat of the sacrifice in them. And there shall no longer be a trader in the house of the Lord of hosts on that day.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: Peoples shall yet come, even the inhabitants of many cities.The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying,‘ Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the Lord and to seek the Lord of hosts; I myself am going.’Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the Lord.Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying,‘ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you( but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!

Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

May he have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth!May desert tribes bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust!May the kings of Tarshish and of the coastlands render him tribute; may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts!May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper.He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy.From oppression and violence he redeems their life, and precious is their blood in his sight.

For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.A multitude of camels shall cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

“ For I know their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory,and I will set a sign among them. And from them I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away, that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations.And they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to the Lord, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord.And some of them also I will take for priests and for Levites, says the Lord.“ For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make shall remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your offspring and your name remain.From new moon to new moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before me, declares the Lord.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can answer sensibly.

May his name endure forever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed!

but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly.When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ,

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed.

It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it,and many nations shall come, and say:“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,
