神既不爱惜原来的枝子，也必不爱惜你。

上帝既然不顾惜原来的枝子，岂会顾惜你？

上帝既然没有留下原来的枝子，也可以不留下你。

神既然不顾惜那本来的树枝，也不会顾惜你。

因为神如果没有顾惜原生的树枝，恐怕也不会顾惜你。

神既不愛惜原來的枝子，也必不愛惜你。

上帝既然不顧惜原來的枝子，豈會顧惜你？

亦宜戒懼、勿自高其心、上帝且不惜本然之枝、何有於爾、

天主既不惜本然之枝、恐亦不惜爾、

蓋天主且不恤其原有之枝、更將何恤於爾？

For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (niv)

Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. (niv)

See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the Lord Almighty.’ (niv)

For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.They all ate the same spiritual foodand drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written:“ The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did— and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.We should not test Christ, as some of them did— and were killed by snakes.And do not grumble, as some of them did— and were killed by the destroying angel.These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, why should you go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. (niv)

You will say then,“ Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” (niv)
