You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe— and they shudder.

The one who trusts in himself is a fool, but one who walks in wisdom will be safe.

He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God.

Since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news did not enter because of disobedience,

unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good,traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people!

do not brag that you are better than those branches. But if you do brag— you do not sustain the root, but the root sustains you.

the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all.

Be alert, stand firm in the faith, act like a man, be strong.

rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude.

Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.

On that day you will not be put to shame because of everything you have done in rebelling against Me. For then I will remove your proud, arrogant people from among you, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.We have also obtained access through Him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
