你會說，那些枝子被折下來是為了使我接上去。

你會說，那些枝子被折下來是為了使我接上去。

你也許會說：「原來的枝子被折下來，是為了把我接上去。」

那麼你會說，那些樹枝被折下來，就是要把我接上去。

你這就必說：『枝子被折下來，特地為要讓我接上啊。』

這樣，你會說：「那些樹枝被折下來，就是要我能被接上去。」

爾將云、枝見折矣、俾我得接焉、

若曰、枝見折矣、余得而接之、

爾若曰、彼枝見折、即為使我得接、是也、

爾將曰、彼枝之被折、正為接吾耳。

Then you will say,“ Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”

“ Well,” you may say,“ those branches were broken off to make room for me.”

Thou wilt say then, Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them and have come to share in the rich root of the cultivated olive tree,

And even they, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again.For if you were cut off from your native wild olive tree and against nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these— the natural branches— be grafted into their own olive tree?

I ask, then, have they stumbled so as to fall? Absolutely not! On the contrary, by their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.Now if their transgression brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness bring!
