你就別對那些枝子誇勝了。縱然誇勝，也不是你托着根，而是根托着你啊。

你就不可向旧枝子夸口；若是夸口，当知道不是你托着根，乃是根托着你。

do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

So don’t think you are better than the other branches. Remember, you don’t give life to the root. The root gives life to you.

do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.

But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root.

不錯，他們猶太人因了不信的心才被折下；你因了信心才立得住。別存着高傲思想了，卻要有畏懼的心。

我還有別的羊，不是屬於這一圈的；他們、我也必須領來，他們也必聽我的聲音；這就一羣、一個牧人了！

先狂傲、然後遭破毁；先有高傲之氣、然後就跌倒。

那麼可誇口的在哪裏呢？絕無可誇之餘地了。這無可誇是憑着甚麼法呢？憑着行為的法麼？不，乃是憑着信的法。

這樣，你們就不再是外人或僑民了，乃是聖徒同國之民，是上帝一家的人。被建造在使徒和神言傳講師的根基上，基督耶穌自己就是房角石。

彼得應時對耶穌說：『眾人雖會因着你而絆跌，我總不絆跌。』

所以自以為站穩的須要謹慎，免得跌倒。

就是因為這個緣故、所以才本着信、要使應許確定，按照恩典、給予一切後裔，不但給予那本着律法的人，也給予那本着亞伯拉罕之信的人。

以色列王回答說：『你們只要說：「才束上武裝的、休要像解掉了的來誇口。」』

『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：將來必有萬族之民和多城的居民還要來到；這一城的居民必去見另一城的居民說：「我們總要趕快去求永恆主的情面，去尋求萬軍之永恆主哦！讓我去吧！也讓我吧！」必有許多外族之民和強盛之國要前來，在耶路撒冷尋求萬軍之永恆主，求永恆主的情面。萬軍之永恆主這麼說：當那些日子列國說各樣語言的人之中十個人必拉住一個猶大人的衣邊、說：「讓我們和你們一同去吧！因為我們聽說上帝與你們同在。」』

耶穌也對那些倚靠自己為義、而藐視其他的人的、講這一個比喻。『有兩個人上殿裏去禱告，一個是法利賽人，另一個是收稅人。那法利賽人站着，用以下這些話禱告說：「上帝啊，我感謝你，我不像其他的人、勒索、不義、姦淫，或者竟像這個收稅人。

你們如果是屬基督的，那你們就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，照應許做後嗣了。

你們敬拜你們所不知道的，我們敬拜我們所知道的，因為拯救是從猶太人出的。
