I ask, then, has God rejected His people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

然則上帝棄其民乎、非也、蓋我亦以色列人、亞伯拉罕之裔、便雅憫之支、

曰、上帝豈拒厥民乎、曰、非也、我乃以色列人、亞伯拉罕裔、便雅憫支派、

我則曰、天主棄其民乎、非也、我亦以色列人、亞伯拉罕之裔、便雅憫支派、

然則吾豈謂天主已棄絕其子民乎？無是理也！即吾本人亦為義塞人、乃亞伯漢之苗裔、而出於便雅明之支派者也。

I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

So here is what I ask. Did God turn his back on his people? Not at all! I myself belong to Israel. I am one of Abraham’s children. I am from the tribe of Benjamin.

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.

I ask, then, has God rejected his own people, the nation of Israel? Of course not! I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham and a member of the tribe of Benjamin.

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? Far from it! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham,[ of] the tribe of Benjamin.

So I ask, God has not rejected his people, has he? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

The Lord will not abandon His people, because of His great name and because He has determined to make you His own people.

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I.

circumcised the eighth day; of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; regarding the law, a Pharisee;

“ Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say,‘ The Lord has rejected the two families He had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep My covenant with the day and with the night and fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,then I might also reject the seed of Jacob and of My servant David— not taking from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

The Lord will not forsake His people or abandon His heritage,

Look, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth. However, I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob— this is the Lord’s declaration—for I am about to give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, as one shakes a sieve, but not a pebble will fall to the ground.

For I could almost wish to be cursed and cut off from the Messiah for the benefit of my brothers, my own flesh and blood.

Absolutely not! God must be true, even if everyone is a liar, as it is written: That You may be justified in Your words and triumph when You judge.

If this fixed order departs from My presence— this is the Lord’s declaration— then also Israel’s descendants will cease to be a nation before Me forever.This is what the Lord says: If the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below explored, I will reject all of Israel’s descendants because of all they have done— this is the Lord’s declaration.

“ All the Jews know my way of life from my youth, which was spent from the beginning among my own nation and in Jerusalem.

He continued,“ I am a Jewish man, born in Tarsus of Cilicia but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel and educated according to the strict view of our patriarchal law. Being zealous for God, just as all of you are today,

My God will reject them because they have not listened to Him; they will become wanderers among the nations.

if they dishonor My statutes and do not keep My commands,then I will call their rebellion to account with the rod, their sin with blows.But I will not withdraw My faithful love from him or betray My faithfulness.I will not violate My covenant or change what My lips have said.Once and for all I have sworn an oath by My holiness; I will not lie to David.His offspring will continue forever, his throne like the sun before Me,like the moon, established forever, a faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

“ Will the Lord reject forever and never again show favor?

For the Lord had said,“ I will also remove Judah from My sight just as I have removed Israel. I will reject this city Jerusalem, that I have chosen, and the temple about which I said,‘ My name will be there.’”
