但由信之義則曰、爾勿意謂誰升於天、即言攜基督而下也、

在言以信稱義者、曰、勿意謂誰能昇天堂耶、蓋言由天而降基督、

惟由信之義如斯云、勿心內曰、孰能升天、言使基督降下、

而因信成義之道則云：『毋私心妄想、誰能登天、以降基督於人間？

But the righteousness that is by faith says:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)

But the way to do what God requires must begin by having faith in him. Scripture says,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’ ”( Deuteronomy 30:12) That means to go up into heaven and bring Christ down.

But the righteousness based on faith says,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)

But faith’s way of getting right with God says,“ Don’t say in your heart,‘ Who will go up to heaven?’( to bring Christ down to earth).

But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart,“ Who will go up to heaven?” that is, to bring Christ down

But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’( that is, to bring Christ down),

But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down from above)

But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down:)

But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart,“ Who will go up to heaven?” that is, to bring Christ down

「我今天頒佈給你們的誡命，對你們來說不難遵行，也非遙不可及。這誡命並非在天上，以致你們說，『誰替我們上天取下來，講給我們聽，讓我們遵行呢？』這誡命也不在海的彼岸，以致你們說，『誰替我們過海取來，講給我們聽，好讓我們遵行呢？』這誡命近在咫尺，就在你口裡，在你心中，好讓你們遵行。

因此聖經上說：「祂升上高天時，帶著許多俘虜，將恩賜賞給眾人。」既然說「升上」，豈不表示祂曾經降到地上嗎？降下的是祂，升到諸天之上的也是祂，祂充滿萬物。

我對你們說地上的事，你們尚且不信，要是說天上的事，你們怎麼會信呢？除了從天上降下來的人子以外，沒有人到過天上。

誰升上高天又降下來？誰將風聚在掌中？誰將眾水裹在衣服裡？誰定了地的邊界？祂叫什麼名字？祂兒子叫什麼名字？你知道嗎？

但這是從天上降下來的糧，人吃了就不死。我就是天上降下來的生命之糧，人吃了這糧，必永遠活著。我將要賜下的糧就是我的肉，是為了讓世人得到生命。」

挪亞因為有信心，在上帝指示他未來要發生的事之後，就懷著敬畏的心建造方舟，來救全家的人。他藉著信心定了那個世代的罪，並承受了因信而來的義。

與祂聯合。我成為義人不是因為遵行律法，而是因為信靠基督。這義從上帝而來，以信為基礎。

因為我從天上下來，不是要成就自己的旨意，而是要成就差我來者的旨意。

因為上帝賜的糧就是從天降下、賜生命給世人的那位。」

上帝使基督耶穌成為贖罪祭，以便人藉著相信耶穌的寶血可以得到赦免。這是為了顯明上帝的義，因為祂用忍耐的心寬容人過去的罪，

祂正是上帝榮耀的光輝，是上帝本體的真像。祂用自己充滿能力的話語維繫萬物。祂洗淨了世人的罪之後，便坐在天上至高上帝的右邊。

上帝應許將世界賜給亞伯拉罕和他的後裔，不是因為亞伯拉罕遵行了律法，而是因為他因信而成了義人。

我是從天上降下來的真糧，吃這糧的人必永遠活著，不像你們的祖先，雖然吃過嗎哪，最後還是死了。」

人只要信耶穌基督，就可以被上帝稱為義人，沒有一個人例外。

這樣看來，我們該說什麼呢？本來不追求義的外族人卻因信而得到了義。以色列人靠遵行律法追求義，卻徒勞無功。
