I gave them my statutes and revealed my regulations to them. The one who carries them out will live by them!

But the law is not based on faith, but the one who does the works of the law will live by them.

and I died. So I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life brought death!

The expert answered,“ Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.”Jesus said to him,“ You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
