蓋不識上帝之義、而求立己之義、故不服上帝之義也、

因为不知道神的义，想要立自己的义，就不服神的义了。

其不識上帝稱義之道、惟一已行義是賴、不服上帝稱義之道、

蓋彼不識天主之義、而欲立己之義、故未服天主之義、

蓋既昧於天主之義、故惟求自立其義、而不服膺天主之義矣。

Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

They didn’t know that God’s power makes people right with himself. They tried to get right with God in their own way. They didn’t do it in God’s way.

For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.

Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness.

For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

Because they disregarded the righteousness from God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted themselves to God’s righteousness.

耶穌謂之曰、爾於人前自義、然上帝知爾心、蓋人所崇者、上帝所惡也、

非以自乎律者為己之義、乃由信基督之義、即以信而自乎上帝者、

蓋爾云、我富矣、已獲富有而無所需矣、不知爾乃困苦、堪悲、貧乏、瞽目、裸體、我為爾謀、宜向我市火煉之金、致得富、市白衣自衣、致爾裸體之羞不露、市目膏以膏爾目、致得見、

彼無罪者、上帝使之代我而為罪、俾我由彼成上帝之義焉、

有自恃為義、而輕忽他人者、耶穌設喻謂之曰、二人登殿祈禱、一為法利賽人、一為稅吏、法利賽人立而自禱曰、上帝歟、我謝爾、以我不似他人強索、不義、淫亂、亦不似此稅吏、我七日禁食者二、而以所得者十輸其一、

蓋上帝之義、於斯而著、由信致信、如經云、義者將因信而生、○

彼欲自義、謂耶穌曰、誰為我鄰、

爾之公義、我將宣之、爾之所為、無益於汝、

我拂逆之、散之敵國、緣其不潔之心、自卑服罪、

蓋如以一人之逆而眾為罪、亦以一人之順而眾為義矣、

蓋蠹將食之、如食衣服、蟲將蛀之、如蛀氄毛、惟我之公義永存、我之拯救、歷世弗替、○

即上帝之義因信耶穌基督及於諸信者、無所區別、

我儕咸如不潔之人、所有之義、乃若污衊之衣、我皆枯槁如葉、被罪驅逐、如風飄颻、

耶和華曰、爾當秉公行義、蓋我之拯救伊邇、我之公義將顯、

上帝歟、爾義崇高、行大事之上帝歟、誰似爾兮、

所加於我、爾無不義、爾所行惟誠、我所行惟惡、

吾儕之不盡滅、乃由耶和華之仁慈、以其矜憫不絕兮、

彼則歌於人前曰、昔我干罪、顚覆正義、所為無益、

以罪、因其弗信我、以義、因我歸父、爾不復見我、

耶穌基督之僕使徒西門彼得、書達與我儕同獲此寶信、在我上帝、我救者、耶穌基督之義也、

然則將何言耶、異邦人未趨義而得義、即由信之義也、惟以色列人趨義之律而不及、此何故耶、曰不由於信、而由於行、乃蹶於躓人之石、

今彰其義、致己為義、且義夫信耶穌者、

既而悟曰、我父若許傭人、其糧有餘、我乃於此飢而死耶、我將起而歸父、謂之曰、父歟、我獲罪於天及爾、今而後、不堪稱為爾子矣、視我如傭人之一、可也、遂起而歸父、相去尚遠、父見而憫之、趨抱其頸而吻接之、子曰、父歟、我獲罪於天及爾、今而後、不堪稱為爾子矣、

為爾民與爾聖邑、已定以七日為期、以七十相乘、用是遏過犯、除罪戾、滌愆尤、彰永義、證異象及預言、膏至聖者、

爾其仰觀上天、俯察下土、諸天必散若煙、大地必敝若衣、居民之死、有如蚊蚋、惟我之拯救永存、我之公義不廢、○

爾公義、爾拯救、不可勝數、我口終日述之兮、我以主耶和華大能之作為而來、祇道爾義兮、

我復證之、凡受割者、宜行全律、爾欲由律見義者、乃絕於基督、而隕於恩矣、

未聽爾僕諸先知、奉爾之名告我君王、牧伯列祖、及國中庶民之言、主歟、惟爾為義、我則蒙羞、有如今日、猶大人、耶路撒冷居民、及以色列眾、因其獲罪於爾、或遠或近、被驅至於諸國、主歟、我與我之君王、牧伯列祖、因獲罪於爾、俱蒙羞恥、我主我上帝、恆懷矜憫赦宥、而我儕悖逆之、

耶和華曰、時日將至、我必為大衛興一義者、乃其條肄、彼將秉權為王、以智處事、秉公行義於斯土、當彼之時、猶大獲救、以色列安居、其名必稱曰耶和華乃我義、
