God knows how often I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God, whom I serve with all my heart by spreading the Good News about his Son.

God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you

I serve God with my whole heart. I preach the good news about his Son. God knows that I always remember you

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you

God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in telling the good news about his Son— that I constantly mention you,

For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you,

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

For God, whom I serve in my spirit by preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness that I continually remember you

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers,

Timothy, I thank God for you— the God I serve with a clear conscience, just as my ancestors did. Night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.

With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it.

Now I call upon God as my witness that I am telling the truth. The reason I didn’t return to Corinth was to spare you from a severe rebuke.

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, no one in all of Greece will ever stop me from boasting about this.Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows that I do.

But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.

Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son.All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Afterward Paul felt compelled by the Spirit to go over to Macedonia and Achaia before going to Jerusalem.“ And after that,” he said,“ I must go on to Rome!”

God knows how much I love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Christ Jesus.I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding.For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return.May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation— the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ— for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me,

Never stop praying.

“ As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort,

Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill the gaps in your faith.

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.

When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.”

I declare before God that what I am writing to you is not a lie.

And I have been chosen as a preacher and apostle to teach the Gentiles this message about faith and truth. I’m not exaggerating— just telling the truth.

Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,

But you know how Timothy has proved himself. Like a son with his father, he has served with me in preaching the Good News.

For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don’t understand what I am saying.Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.

So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ.That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.

But the time is coming— indeed it’s here now— when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money!As for human praise, we have never sought it from you or anyone else.As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children.We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.Don’t you remember, dear brothers and sisters, how hard we worked among you? Night and day we toiled to earn a living so that we would not be a burden to any of you as we preached God’s Good News to you.You yourselves are our witnesses— and so is God— that we were devout and honest and faultless toward all of you believers.

God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, who is worthy of eternal praise, knows I am not lying.

Even now my witness is in heaven. My advocate is there on high.

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called— his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power
