Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,

吾人賴以蒙恩、忝列宗徒、期使萬民歸順正道、依崇聖名；

Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake.

We received grace because of what Jesus did. He made us apostles to the Gentiles. We must invite all of them to obey God by trusting in Jesus. We do this to bring glory to him.

through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,

Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority as apostles to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.

that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God,that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery( as I have briefly written already,by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,

( for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the circumcised also worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles),and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name.

“ But cursed be the deceiver Who has in his flock a male, And takes a vow, But sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished— For I am a great King,” Says the Lord of hosts,“ And My name is to be feared among the nations.
