自从造天地以来，神的永能和神性是明明可知的，虽是眼不能见，但藉着所造之物就可以晓得，叫人无可推诿。

自創世以來、上帝之永能神性、即所莫見者、已明見矣、乃由所造之物而知之、致人末由推諉、

自開闢以來、上帝之永能性體、目不及見、惟其所造之物、可睹而知、故人未由推諉、

天主不可見之事、即其永能、及其為天主之真、目不可見、自造天地以來、乃可明知、因觀其所造之物而悟、致人無由推諉、

蓋自有世以來、天主形而上之神性靈德、實可憑其所造之萬物而辨認洞見也。然則世人亦烏得而推諉乎？

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities— his eternal power and divine nature— have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Ever since the world was created it has been possible to see the qualities of God that are not seen. I’m talking about his eternal power and about the fact that he is God. Those things can be seen in what he has made. So people have no excuse for what they do.

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities— his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse.

實際上，有關神的事，人所能知道的，在他們裡面是清清楚楚的，因為神已經向他們顯明了。

你們向高天舉目觀看吧！是誰創造了這些萬象？是按著數目把萬象領出來的那一位！他一一點其名；因他的大能大力，它們一個也不缺失。

諸天述說神的榮耀，穹蒼宣告他手的作為。這日到那日湧出言語，這夜到那夜陳述知識。無言無語，無聲無息。但它們的聲音傳遍全地，它們的言語傳到地極。神在它們中間為太陽安設帳篷，太陽如同新郎出洞房，又如勇士歡然奔路。它從天這邊出來，繞到天的那邊，沒有什麼能在它的熱氣面前隱藏。

諸天藉著耶和華的話語而造，其中的萬象藉著他口中的氣息而成。他聚集海水如壘，收藏深淵在庫房。願全地都敬畏耶和華，願世上所有的居民都懼怕他；因為他說有，就有；命立，就立。

這就顯出律法的要求刻在他們的心裡，他們的良心也一同作證，而且自己的心思之間，互相控告或辯解。

我觀看你手指所造的天，並你所安設的月亮星宿，

他把大地奠定在根基上，使它永永遠遠不動搖。

願尊貴和榮耀歸於那萬世之王，就是那不朽壞的、不可見的、獨一的神，直到永永遠遠！阿們。

從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裡的那位獨生子——神，他將神表明了出來。

就是那獨一不朽的、住在人所不能靠近的光裡，沒有人見過、也沒有人能看見的那一位。願尊貴和永恆的權能都歸於他！阿們。

是你創造了我的肺腑，在我母腹中編織了我。

你的信實存到萬代，你堅立了大地，大地就存留。

如果我沒有來，也沒有教導他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今，他們的罪無可推諉了。

哦，人哪，所以你是無法推諉的！一切評斷人的啊，你在什麼事上評斷別人，就在什麼事上定自己的罪；因為你這評斷人的，你自己也在做同樣的事。

愛子是那不可見之神的形像，是一切被造之物的長子，

更何況基督的血呢！基督藉著永恆的聖靈，將自己毫無瑕疵地獻給神，他的血難道不能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們事奉永生的神嗎？

願耶和華的榮耀長存，直到永遠；願耶和華因自己的作為而歡喜！

你們當依靠耶和華，直到永遠，因為神耶和華是永恆的磐石！

然而如今已經得以顯現；並且按照永恆神的命令，藉著先知們的經文顯明了出來。這是為要在萬民中帶來信仰上的順從——

因為有一嬰孩為我們而生，有一兒子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩上，他的名必稱為「奇妙的謀士」、「全能的神」、「永恆的父」、「和平的君」，

因著信，他不怕王的憤怒，離開了埃及，因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見了不可見的那一位。

這是因為神本性的一切豐盛完美都有形有體地居住在基督裡面；

所以我們既然是神的後裔，就不應該認為神性是彷彿用人的手藝和心思所雕刻的金、銀、石像。

烈火和冰雹、冰雪和雲霧、遵行他話語的暴風、群山和所有的岡陵、果樹和所有的香柏樹、野獸和所有的牲畜、爬行動物和飛鳥、地上的君王和萬民、首領們和地上所有的審判官、青年人和處女們、老年人與少年人——

群山生出之前，你造出大地和世界之前，從永遠到永遠，你是神。

好讓你們成為你們天父的兒女。因為他使太陽升起，對著惡人，也對著好人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。

亞伯拉罕在比爾-謝巴栽種了一棵檉柳樹，在那裡呼求耶和華永恆之神的名。

「各位父老兄弟，現在請聽我的申辯。」
