夫上帝之怒、自天而顯、加諸人之不虔不義者、即以不義而抑真理者也、

且上帝之怒、由天而顯、以警不虔不義、行惡阻真理之人、

且天主之怒、由天而顯、罰諸不虔不義、即行不義阻真理之人、

且天主之譴怒、實未嘗不自天而顯、用警悖逆、不義、以邪惡阻塞天理之人。

They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.

Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.

He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.

And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.

For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it.( The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!)

Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”

They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.And this is the message I proclaim— that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with him.You know what he wants; you know what is right because you have been taught his law.You are convinced that you are a guide for the blind and a light for people who are lost in darkness.You think you can instruct the ignorant and teach children the ways of God. For you are certain that God’s law gives you complete knowledge and truth.Well then, if you teach others, why don’t you teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal?You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you commit adultery? You condemn idolatry, but do you use items stolen from pagan temples?You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it.

They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them.
