上帝的烈怒从天上降下，要惩罚一切心中无神、行为不义、压制真理的人。

神的震怒，从天上向所有不虔不义的人显露出来，就是向那些以不义压制真理的人显露出来。

要知道，人用不公义抵挡真理，神的震怒就从天上显明在人的一切不敬虔和不公义上。

上帝的烈怒從天上降下，要懲罰一切心中無神、行為不義、壓制真理的人。

神的震怒，從天上向所有不虔不義的人顯露出來，就是向那些以不義壓制真理的人顯露出來。

原來上帝的義怒正從天上顯示出來，要懲罰一切不虔不義、以不義抑制真理的人。

要知道，人用不公義抵擋真理，神的震怒就從天上顯明在人的一切不敬虔和不公義上。

夫上帝之怒、自天而顯、加諸人之不虔不義者、即以不義而抑真理者也、

且上帝之怒、由天而顯、以警不虔不義、行惡阻真理之人、

且天主之怒、由天而顯、罰諸不虔不義、即行不義阻真理之人、

且天主之譴怒、實未嘗不自天而顯、用警悖逆、不義、以邪惡阻塞天理之人。

God shows his anger from heaven. It is against all the godless and evil things people do. They are so evil that they say no to the truth.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

For God’s wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth,

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark,an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.“ The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.
