For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

For the word of God[ is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and[ is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

[ Is] not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer[ that] breaketh the rock in pieces?

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

( For the weapons of our warfare[ are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;Which is come unto you, as[ it is] in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as[ it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard[ of it], and knew the grace of God in truth:

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received[ it] not[ as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

Now thanks[ be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:To the one[ we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who[ is] sufficient for these things?

I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

What is my reward then?[ Verily] that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or[ one] unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on[ his] face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness[ and] thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers[ thereof].I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness,[ even] of thine only.

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which[ he had yet] being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
