For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek;

which is not another gospel: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

( for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds);casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

Who hath believed our message? and to whom hath the arm of Jehovah been revealed?

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, even the word of God, ye accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.

But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.For we are a sweet savor of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, and in them that perish;to the one a savor from death unto death; to the other a savor from life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

I will also speak of thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be put to shame.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.

Jehovah will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

The Jews therefore said among themselves, Whither will this man go that we shall not find him? will he go unto the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?
