The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss.

The fifth angel blew his trumpet. Then I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the tunnel leading down into a bottomless pit. The pit was called the Abyss.

第三位天使吹了號筒；就有彷彿火把燒着的大星從天上墜下來，墜在江河的三分之一和眾水之泉源上。

永活的；我曾經死，如今你看，我是永遠活着、世世無窮的；我並且執有死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

他開了那無底坑，就有煙從坑裏往上冒，像大火爐的煙；日頭和空氣都因坑裏的煙而變了黑暗。

或是說：「誰要下無底坑去。（這就是說，誰要把基督從死人中領上來）呢？」』

鬼求耶穌不要吩咐他們往無底坑去。

你所看見的獸、先前有、如今沒有，牠將要從無底坑上來、而走向着滅亡。住在地上的人、其名字從世界創立以來沒有記在生命冊上的、見那先前有、如今沒有、將來還要有的獸、都必驚奇。

這一點你要知道：在末後的日子、必有艱苦的時期要來到。因為人必逕愛自己、愛銀錢、矜誇、狂傲、毁謗、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、不虔聖、無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能節制、蠻橫兇暴、不愛良善、出賣師友、鹵莽妄為、蒙於傲氣、愛宴樂而不愛上帝，有敬虔的形式，卻背棄了敬虔的實質；這種人、你要躲開。

我看見有一位天使從天上降下來，手裏執有無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鍊子。

牠們有無底坑的使者做王管轄牠們；王的名字按希伯來話是亞巴頓；按希利尼話叫亞波倫、就是「毁滅者」的意思。第一樣災禍過去了；你看吧，此後還有兩樣災禍要來呢。第六位天使吹了號筒；我就聽見有聲音從上帝面前金祭壇的四角上發出，

第四位天使吹了號筒；日頭的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星晨的三分之一、就被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一都變了黑，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。

耶穌對他們說：『我看見撒但從天上跌了下來，像閃電一樣。

第二樣災禍過去了。你看吧，第三樣災禍快到了。第七位天使吹了號筒；天上就有大聲音說：『世界的國已成了我們的主和他所膏立的基督的國了；他必掌王權、世世無窮。』

我看見那站在上帝面前的七位天使；有七枝號筒給了他們。

那執有七枝號筒的七位天使就豫備好了要吹號筒。第一位吹了號筒；就有雹子跟火攙雜着血丟在地上。地的三分之一燒掉了，樹的三分之一燒掉了，一切青草也燒掉了。第二位天使吹了號筒；就有彷彿被火燒着的大山丟到海中。海的三分之一變了血；

不要讓人用任何方法誘惑你們；因為必先有叛教之事，然後那日子才來到，那不法之人才顯露出來，就是那自趨滅亡的人、那敵對者、那高抬自己、超高一切稱為神或受人崇拜者，甚至坐在上帝之殿堂裏、自稱為神的。我還在你們那裏的時候、就屢次把這些事告訴了你們，你們不記得麼？並且那現今抑制着他、使他到適當時機才顯露出來的、是甚麼、你們也知道。那不法之「祕密」是已在運用動力的。不過這必須等那現在還抑制他的從中間被處置了，然後那不法者才顯露出來。主耶穌必用他口中的氣殺掉他，用他御臨之顯現消滅他。

那迷惑他們的魔鬼就被丟在火跟硫磺的湖裏、獸和假神言人所在的地方；他們必晝夜受苦痛，世世代代、永不停息。

『明亮之星，啓明之子啊，你怎麼從天上墜落啊！你這使列國屈服的，你怎麼被砍倒於地上啊！

你所看見那在我右手中的七顆星和七個金燈臺的象徵奧祕是：那七顆星是七個教會的使者；那七個燈臺是七個教會。
