Another angel holding a golden censer came and was stationed at the altar. A large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.

又有一使者來、立於壇側、執金爐、有以多香予之、俾與諸聖徒之祈禱、同獻於座前之金壇、

又一天使執金鼎、侍祭壇側、授香無算、以香與聖徒祈禱、獻於位前之金壇、

又一天使執金香爐來、立於祭臺側、又得多香、以與聖徒祈禱、同獻於寶座前之金臺、

又一天神、捧金香爐而來、肅立祭壇之旁、受賜靈香無算、俾與諸聖之祈禱相和、而獻之於座前金壇之上。

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne.

Another angel came and stood at the altar. He had a shallow gold cup for burning incense. He was given a lot of incense to offer on the golden altar. The altar was in front of the throne. With the incense he offered the prayers of all God’s people.

And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne,

Then another angel with a gold incense burner came and stood at the altar. And a great amount of incense was given to him to mix with the prayers of God’s people as an offering on the gold altar before the throne.

Another angel, with a golden incense burner, came and stood at the altar. He was given a large amount of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar in front of the throne.

and when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty- four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense( which are the prayers of the saints).

Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a single voice coming from the horns on the golden altar that is before God,

The smoke coming from the incense, along with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

May you accept my prayer like incense, my uplifted hands like the evening offering!

It contained the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered entirely with gold. In this ark were the golden urn containing the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

Now the whole crowd of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering.

For from the east to the west my name will be great among the nations. Incense and pure offerings will be offered in my name everywhere, for my name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD who rules over all.

the pure gold bowls, trimming shears, basins, pans, and censers, and the gold door sockets for the inner sanctuary( the most holy place) and for the doors of the main hall of the temple.

Now when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been violently killed because of the word of God and because of the testimony they had given.

But once he became powerful, his pride destroyed him. He disobeyed the LORD his God. He entered the LORD’s temple to offer incense on the incense altar.Azariah the priest and eighty other brave priests of the LORD followed him in.They confronted King Uzziah and said to him,“ It is not proper for you, Uzziah, to offer incense to the LORD. That is the responsibility of the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who are consecrated to offer incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have disobeyed and the LORD God will not honor you!”Uzziah, who had an incense censer in his hand, became angry. While he was ranting and raving at the priests, a skin disease appeared on his forehead right there in front of the priests in the LORD’s temple near the incense altar.When Azariah the high priest and the other priests looked at him, there was a skin disease on his forehead. They hurried him out of there; even the king himself wanted to leave quickly because the LORD had afflicted him.

“ You are to make an altar for burning incense; you are to make it of acacia wood.Its length is to be a foot and a half and its width a foot and a half; it will be square. Its height is to be three feet, with its horns of one piece with it.You are to overlay it with pure gold– its top, its four walls, and its horns– and make a surrounding border of gold for it.You are to make two gold rings for it under its border, on its two flanks; you are to make them on its two sides. The rings will be places for poles to carry it with.You are to make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.“ You are to put it in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the testimony( before the atonement lid that is over the testimony), where I will meet you.Aaron is to burn sweet incense on it morning by morning; when he attends to the lamps he is to burn incense.When Aaron sets up the lamps around sundown he is to burn incense on it; it is to be a regular incense offering before the LORD throughout your generations.

He made the incense altar of acacia wood. Its length was a foot and a half and its width a foot and a half– a square– and its height was three feet. Its horns were of one piece with it.He overlaid it with pure gold– its top, its four walls, and its horns– and he made a surrounding border of gold for it.

and take a censer full of coals of fire from the altar before the LORD and a full double handful of finely ground fragrant incense, and bring them inside the veil-canopy.He must then put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the cloud of incense will cover the atonement plate which is above the ark of the testimony, so that he will not die.

And he put the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain,

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ Take the censer, put burning coals from the altar in it, place incense on it, and go quickly into the assembly and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from the LORD– the plague has begun!”So Aaron did as Moses commanded and ran into the middle of the assembly, where the plague was just beginning among the people. So he placed incense on the coals and made atonement for the people.

I saw the sovereign One standing by the altar and he said,“ Strike the tops of the support pillars, so the thresholds shake! Knock them down on the heads of all the people, and I will kill the survivors with the sword. No one will be able to run away; no one will be able to escape.

( My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.) But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One,and he himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,and since we have a great priest over the house of God,let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.

“ After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the desert of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and when he approached to investigate, there came the voice of the Lord,‘ I am the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look more closely.

For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin.Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.

So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died( and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.

The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from within a bush. He looked– and the bush was ablaze with fire, but it was not being consumed!So Moses thought,“ I will turn aside to see this amazing sight. Why does the bush not burn up?”When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him from within the bush and said,“ Moses, Moses!” And Moses said,“ Here I am.”God said,“ Do not approach any closer! Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”He added,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.The LORD said,“ I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt. I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.I have come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a land that is both good and spacious, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the region of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.And now indeed the cry of the Israelites has come to me, and I have also seen how severely the Egyptians oppress them.So now go, and I will send you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.”Moses said to God,“ Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, or that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”He replied,“ Surely I will be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you bring the people out of Egypt, you and they will serve God on this mountain.”Moses said to God,“ If I go to the Israelites and tell them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’– what should I say to them?”God said to Moses,“ I AM that I AM.” And he said,“ You must say this to the Israelites,‘ I AM has sent me to you.’”God also said to Moses,“ You must say this to the Israelites,‘ The LORD– the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob– has sent me to you. This is my name forever, and this is my memorial from generation to generation.’“ Go and bring together the elders of Israel and tell them,‘ The LORD, the God of your fathers, appeared to me– the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob– saying,“ I have attended carefully to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt,and I have promised that I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’“ The elders will listen to you, and then you and the elders of Israel must go to the king of Egypt and tell him,‘ The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. So now, let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, so that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.’

Then he blessed Joseph and said,“ May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked– the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,the Angel who has protected me from all harm– bless these boys. May my name be named in them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac. May they grow into a multitude on the earth.”

Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, who had the seal of the living God. He shouted out with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given permission to damage the earth and the sea:

Then I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire.
