Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

And the angel answered and said to him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.

“ Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels,“ Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice,“ Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.

If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?

Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.

Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet,“ Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and of Nathan the prophet; for thus was the commandment of the Lord by his prophets.The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.Then Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the Lord also began, with the trumpets and with the instruments of David king of Israel.So all the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:“ Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey.When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys.And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the advance.The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and these shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations.“ When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”
