Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”

The angel answered and said to him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

“ See that you do not look down on one of these little ones; for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels,“ Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”

And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.The first sounded, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood,and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters.The star is named Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the waters because they were made bitter.The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice,“ Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key to the shaft of the abyss was given to him.

If a trumpet is blown in a city, will the people not tremble? If a disaster occurs in a city, has the Lord not brought it about?Certainly the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret plan To His servants the prophets.A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can do anything but prophesy?

Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels who had seven plagues, which are the last, because in them the wrath of God is finished.

Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet,“ Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”

He then stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the command of David and of Gad, the king’s seer, and of Nathan the prophet; for the command was from the Lord through His prophets.The Levites stood with the musical instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.Then Hezekiah gave the order to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song to the Lord also began with the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David, king of Israel.While the whole assembly worshiped, the singers also sang and the trumpets sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

The Lord spoke further to Moses, saying,“ Make yourself two trumpets of silver, you shall make them of hammered work; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and breaking camp.Now when both are blown, all the congregation shall meet you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.But if only one is blown, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall meet you.And when you blow an alarm, the camps that are pitched on the east side shall set out.Then when you sound an alarm the second time, the camps that are pitched on the south side shall set out; an alarm is to be sounded for them to break camp.When convening the assembly, however, you shall blow the trumpets without sounding an alarm.The sons of Aaron, moreover, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and this shall be a permanent statute for you throughout your generations.And when you go to war in your land against the enemy who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, so that you will be thought of by the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.Also on the day of your joy and at your appointed feasts, and on the first days of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be as a reminder of you before your God. I am the Lord your God.”
