The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

天上的星宿都不發光，太陽一升起就變黑暗，月亮也不放光。

太陽要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在耶和華大而可畏的日子未到以前。

在牠們面前，地動天搖，日月昏暗，星宿無光。

第一位天使吹號，就有冰雹和火攙着血扔在地上；地的三分之一和樹的三分之一被燒掉了，一切的青草也被燒掉了。第二位天使吹號，就有像火燒着的大山扔在海中；海的三分之一變成血，海中有生命的被造之物死了三分之一，船隻也毀壞了三分之一。第三位天使吹號，就有燒着的大星好像火把從天上墜下來，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。這星名叫「苦艾」；眾水的三分之一變為苦艾，許多人因水變苦而死了。第四位天使吹號，太陽的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一變黑了，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。

日月昏暗，星宿無光。

這全地的人，三分之二將被剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。這是耶和華說的。我要使這三分之一經過火，熬煉他們，如熬煉銀子；試煉他們，如試煉金子。他們要求告我的名，我必應允他們。我說：「這是我的子民。」他們要說：「耶和華是我的神。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸出你的手，使黑暗籠罩埃及地；這黑暗甚至可以摸得到。」摩西向天伸出他的手，濃密的黑暗就籠罩了埃及全地三天之久。三天內，人人彼此看不見，誰也不敢起身離開原地；但所有以色列人住的地方卻有光。法老就召摩西來，說：「去，事奉耶和華吧！只是你們的羊羣牛羣要留下來。你們的孩子可以和你們同去。」摩西說：「你必須把祭物和燔祭牲交在我們手中，讓我們可以向耶和華我們的神獻祭。我們的牲畜也要與我們同去，連一蹄也不留下，因為我們要從牲畜中挑選來事奉耶和華－我們的神。未到那裏之前，我們還不知道要用甚麼來事奉耶和華。」但耶和華任憑法老的心剛硬，法老不肯放他們走。法老對摩西說：「離開我去吧！你要小心，不要再見我的面，因為再見我面的那日，你就必死！」摩西說：「就照你說的，我也不要再見你的面了！」

羔羊揭開第六個印的時候，我看見地大震動，太陽變黑像粗麻布，整個月亮變紅像血，

這不法的人來，是靠撒但的運作，行各樣的異能、神蹟和一切虛假的奇事，並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣不義的詭詐，因為他們不領受愛真理的心，好讓他們得救。故此，神就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，使一切不信真理、倒喜愛不義的人都被定罪。

那四個使者就被釋放；他們原是預備好，在特定的年、月、日、時，要殺人類的三分之一。

「那些日子的災難一過去，太陽要變黑，月亮也不放光，眾星要從天上墜落，天上的萬象都要震動。

到了正午，全地都黑暗了，直到下午三點鐘。

「日月星辰要顯出預兆，地上的邦國也有困苦，因海中波浪的響聲而惶惶不安。

那時大約是正午，全地都黑暗了，直到下午三點鐘，太陽變黑了，殿的幔子從當中裂為兩半。

「在那些日子、那災難以後，太陽要變黑，月亮也不放光，

牠的尾巴拖拉着天上星辰的三分之一，把它們摔在地上。然後龍站在那將要生產的婦人面前，等她生產後要吞吃她的孩子。

從正午到下午三點鐘，遍地都黑暗了。

從馬的口中所噴出來的火、煙和硫磺這三樣災害殺了人類的三分之一。

那時，月亮要蒙羞，太陽要慚愧，因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷作王，在他眾長老面前彰顯榮耀。

太陽要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在主大而光榮的日子未到以前。

第四位天使把碗傾倒在太陽上，使太陽可用火烤人。人被炎熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災難的神的名，他們沒有悔改，也沒有把榮耀歸給神。

我觀看地，看哪，地是空虛混沌；我觀看天，天也無光。

我毀滅你時，要遮蔽諸天，使眾星昏暗；我必以密雲遮掩太陽，月亮也不放光。我要使天上發亮的光體在你上面變為昏暗，使你的地也變為黑暗。這是主耶和華說的。

「到那日，我要使太陽在正午落下，使這地在白晝黑暗。」這是主耶和華說的。

這些不信的人被這世界的神明弄瞎了心眼，使他們看不見基督榮耀的福音。基督本是神的像。
